D11- GMDSS General Operator Certificate

This course is designed to satisfy the requirements of Appendix 3, IMO Resolution A.703 (17) - Recommendations for training radio operator with general authority. The course has been revised in accordance with the changes occurring in the Radio Regulations of 20112.

The course meets the demands of n ational legislation in accordance with Annex D of the professions and cerificates of seafarers, 29.10.2013. is sued by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure and IMO Model  25/01. The course is intended for all members of the crew whose duties include working with the radio communications equipment on board. After successful completion of the course, trainees will understand the importance of radio communications according to SOLAS in (Safety of Life at Sea), 1974, and will acquire the necessary skills for independent handling of radio communiactions devices, and in particular in cases of distress. 

This course provides to participant knowledge, skills and qualifications of a specific table in Section A-IV/2 of the STCW Code of 1978 and changes from 2010.

The course was approved by the Croatian Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Transport and Infrastructure. The candidate who successfully completes the course will receive a certificate of participation, and after successfully passing the exam at the harbor master's office, candidates will receive a certificate of competency for GMDSS radio operator with general powers (STCW IV / 2) issued by the Croatian Ministry of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure.
